« Hron : a country of ghosts » is a story about war, but more so a story about love. It starts when Dimos Horacki, reporter for the Borolian empire, arrives in the mountain regions of Cerracs to write news of the forfronts of the war. Though the Empire presumes they will be able to expand their borders, they will be confronted by resistance on land that was assumed to be uninhabited. It is the story of love that unites people who believe that living together and organizing differently is possible, but that they must fight together to preserve their way of life.

The crew is made of anarchists, queers and artists who are hoping to make the set and the project’s accessibility as inclusive and safe as possible. Queerphobia, sexism, transphobia, racism and ableism aren’t tolerated at any point of the process. This casting call is open to anyone, thought priority will be given to folks from the LGBTQIA+ BIPOC communities.
The characters haven’t been created around defined ideas of gender or gender expressions. They are not gendered in the screenplay, so anyone can audition for the character(s) of their choice.
The entire script will be translated, and will therefore be available in both french and english. The character’s language can be adapted to whichever the actor is most comfortable with.
